Crown Media trains people to engage with the media through use of simulation – creating TV (and other media) news products in real time and with real journalists to respond response to the training audience’s actions, often for example on crisis exercises held to develop skills. Some of our work is also classroom based – TV interviews and playbacks according to a scenario. We have a wide range of clients – many military but our portfolio extends to health, transport, the nuclear industry, police and fire, even the Forestry Commission. Many of our excellent camera/editors have come from IOV contacts – they like the fact the work and locations are varied, working in skilled and fun teams, and it’s a regular bit of income in between other jobs. In the last month for example it’s ranged from Qatar and Kenya, to Salisbury Plain and Bavaria. At any one time we can have up to half a dozen teams at work. We provide food, accommodation, travel outside the UK, (and limited expenses in the UK), and pay £230.00 a day fully kitted. Interested?
